1. 밸런스

물론 현실 스탯을 바탕으로 능력치를 짜는 프로 스포츠 게임인 이상 밸런스 붕괴는 일어날 수밖에 없지만 문제는 그 정도가 시리즈 중 매우 심각하다. 15년도 선수의 편애와 슈퍼스타의 출시, 특히 리미티드의 출시로 인해 파워 인플레가 심하다. 차라리 전 작들의 밸런스가 더 나았을 정도.[1] 그래서 나온 별명이 "밸붕만루". 게다가 고증도 밸런스 못지 않게 따로 놀고 있다.

하지만 이런 문제점을 반영하지 않은 게임빌은 리미티드 등급을 추가함으로써 유저들에게 더욱 욕을 먹고 있다.

그리고 12월 17일 약관 개악 사태로 인해 게임 내 스탯 밸런스 패치는 사실상 없는 셈이 되고 말았다. 항목 참조.

1.1. 문제점

베이직 중에 스탯 100을 넘는 카드가 있는 반면, 레전드 카드중에서 100을 넘기지 못하는 카드도 있다.
연도가 다른 선수끼리 스탯 밸런스가 안맞는 것[2]은 타게임도 그러하니 넘어간다고 쳐도 같은 연도 선수끼리의 스탯 밸런스도 맞지 않는 심각한 문제가 있다. 예를 들면 02박종호는 0.266의 타율(406타수)을 기록하였으며, 동일한 시즌의 02브리또는 0.283(481타수)의 타율을 기록하였다. 그러나 박종호의 컨택은 브리또보다 좌교타 6, 우교타 11이 높다.
09최희섭 [3], 15양의지 같은 답이 없는 카드가 판치고 있었지만 스탯의 5부분 이상 100을 넘기는 슈퍼스타 카드 대부분에게 사기 캐릭터의 위치를 뺏겼다. 그런데 이것보다 더한 문제는 이 스탯이 강화 기준의 수치가 아니라 미강화 기준의 수치이다.
카드의 등급 기준이 엉망이다. 특히 엘리트 및 슈퍼스타 같은 경우의 등급 구분이 문제인데, 대표적으로 5성 엘리트 이우민, 7성 슈퍼스타 김용달, 7성 엘리트 정대현이 그 경우이다.
자동 라인업을 할 시에 가끔씩 해당 포지션을 소화 가능한 선수가 있는데도 소화 못하는 포지션으로 보내버린다.

실제 선수의 이름값보다 스탯 빨만 믿고 가야 하는 게임.

선수의 스탯 산정과 실제 기록이 따로 논다. 이게 밸붕이라고 욕먹는 결정적 이유다.[4]

09 김현수, 07 권혁, 14 서건창 [5], 03 이종범, 00 박재홍, 00정민태, 00송지만 등의 커리어 하이 선수들은 짝수성에서 홀수성으로 격하, 스탯도 터무니없이 떨어졌다. 이번에 업데이트된 리미티드등급 때문에 격하가 된 것일수도 있다.
14손아섭의 성능이 골글 수상자임에도 불구하고 하위권이다. 15시즌은 부상도 있고 슬럼프 이야기가 공개적으로 나올 정도니 그렇다 쳐도 엄연히 이름값을 해낸 14시즌 스탯을 도저히 이해할 수 없는 수준으로 맞춰놨다. 제작사가 손아섭한테 악감정이 있나 싶을 정도. 7월 29일 이후로 14 손아섭 슈퍼스타가 나왔지만 타 슈퍼스타 카드에게 매우 밀린다.
실제로 53,52홈런을 친 03심종선, 14박병호는 스탯 자체가 답이 없을 정도의 코레기로 전락했다. 이를 포착한 유저들은 게임빌 직원들 중에서 국거박이 있는게 아니냐는 썰이 나돈 바 있었다.

이게 끝이 아닌데, 당시 KBO 홈런 신기록을 세운 03이승엽의 스탯은 정말이지 두말 안해도 처참하다. 직접 보자.

1.1.1.1. 2015년 선수의 편애 논란

결정적으로 성적이 좋든 나쁘든 2015년 선수를 대놓고 편애해 줬다는 추악한 행각이 밝혀졌다. 2015년 1호 퇴출 용병인 그분이 10성 레전드에 컨택과 파워가 2015시즌에 47홈런, KBO 최초 단일 시즌 사이클링히트 2회, 40-40 클럽에 가입한 생태계 교란종보다도 높다. 당연하겠지만 2015년 선수들은 타 선수들의 상위호환이 엄청나게 널리고 널렸다. 당연히 약관 개악 사태를 보면 알겠지만 2015년 선수에 대한 스탯 너프는 거의 없는 편이다. 옆동네가 15년 선수 스탯을 주기적으로 바꿔주는 것과는 정말 대조되는 부분.

더욱 악질인 건, 권용관[6], 송은범[7], 배영수, 이상화같은 커리어로우에 속하는 선수들을 엄청나게 띄워줬다.

결국 이로 인해 15양의지(스탯)는 시리즈 최강의 포수로 군림했었으나 유저들의 연구로 인해 03이도형(스탯)이 시리즈 최강의 포수로 군림했다.

1.1.2. 넘쳐나는 하위호환 선수

하위호환 취급 받는 실제로 커리어 하이를 찍은 선수들이 넘치고 많다.

당시 김광현은 다승왕+커리어하이를 기록했으나 이보다 스탯이 좋은 건 10승도 못찍은 서재응이다. 구종도 그리 좋지 못한 건 보너스.

다만 박병호의 컨택이 낮게 산정된 이유는 많은 삼진갯수로 보인다. 참고로 넥센 이적후 박병호는 삼진에서 2012년 2위, 2013년 8위, 2014년 1위를 기록하였으며 2015년에는 2위와는 26개 차이로 압도적인 1위를 차지하면서 2년 연속 피삼진왕을 달성했다.

유저들은 스탯 최대치 확장, 주력 변경 가능, 승급 시스템이 밸런스 붕괴의 주범이 주된 이유라는 의견이 있다.
