밥 딜런의 5번째 스튜디오 음반.2. 상세
일렉트릭과 어쿠스틱 사이드로 나누어진다. 보다 추상적이고 개인적인 가사를 담고 있다. 딜런은 비틀즈의 로큰롤이 가진 에너지와 환희에 매료되었다. 딜런은 후배 밴드인 "버즈(Byrds)에게 자신의 곡 "Mr. Tambourine Man"을 주고[1] 과 자신의 앨범인 "Bringing It All Back Home"을 통해 록을 시험하게 된다. 그리고 여기서 얻은 자신감으로 본격적으로 포크 록에 도전한다. 그리고 기존 포크 팬들에게 비난을 받기 시작한다. 롤링 스톤 선정 500대 명반에서 181위에 랭크되었다.원테이크 녹음을 하다보니 Bob Dylan's 115th Dream 초반 실수해서 웃는 부분이 그대로 녹음되었다.
