1. 개요
Springer에서 출판하는 수학과 대학원 과정 교재 시리즈이다.그 특유의 샛노란 바탕의 표지로 유명하다.
2. 역사
1971년 Springer 뉴욕 지부에서 신 레이블 출판이 결정되었고 시작되었고 당해 Categories for the Working Mathematician 등을 비롯해 초기 volume 일부가 출판되었다.이후 1980년 후반에 100 volume, 2000년대 초반에 200 volume째를 돌파하며 권수가 점점 늘어났다. 거진 1년에 대여섯 권은 나왔다고.
