Department of Political Science & International Relations Department of Public Administration Department of Public Relations & Advertising Department of Consumer Economics Department of Social Psychology 심리학의 한 분과인 ‘사회심리학’을 중심으로 교육, 연구가 이루어지는 학과이다. 그러나 일반적인 심리학과와 다르게, 사회학 전임 교수가 있고 사회학 과목이 전공필수와 선택 과목으로 개설되어 있다. 물론 심리학이 조금 더 비중이 크기는 하지만, 이런 성격 때문에 ‘사회심리학 ’과이기도 하지만 보기 드물게 사회학 과 심리학을 모두 다루는 ‘사회 ’+ ‘심리 ’학과의 성격도 있다. 범죄 심리학 전문가로 유명한 박지선 교수가 재직하고 있다.
