1. 개요

Windows 11에서 자주 일어나는 버그 목록 문서이다. Windows 11까지의 모든 Windows에서 발생하는 버그는 OS 구성 요소/시스템 컴포넌트의 버그, 보안 업데이트의 버그 등의 Windows OS에서 발생하는 버그와, 하드웨어 제조사가 내놓는 각종 드라이버에서 발생하는 버그 등 크게 두 가지 원인으로 발생한다.

OS의 버그는 주로 Windows 업데이트가 원인인 경우가 많은데, 버그 확인이 제대로 되지 않은 업데이트가 일반 사용자에게 배포된 상황이 많기 때문이다.

'최적화' 또는 'Lite'라는 딱지를 단, 각종 트윅이 적용된 커스텀 Windows를 사용하는 것도 원인 가운데 하나가 될 수 있다. 이런 커스텀 Windows들은 수동으로 윈도우의 여러 서비스를 끄고 각종 레지스트리의 설정을 바꾸거나, 또는 별도의 최적화 프로그램을 사용해 Windows의 여러 서비스를 건드리는 방식이 많다. 하지만 OS의 업데이트는 당연히 순정 Windows 이미지를 기반으로 제작된다. 그래서 업데이트에 포함된 패치 요소와 최적화 프로그램 등에서 지정한 설정 사이에 충돌이 생겨 버그가 발생할 수 있다.

드라이버의 버그는 주로 지원이 취약한 구형 부품에서 주로 발생하는데, 그래픽 카드와 사운드 카드에서 발생하는 경우가 많다.

이러한 원인들이 복합적으로 작용해 유저들이 겪게되는 버그가 발생하는데, 이 때문에 원인을 알 수 없고 딱 맞는 해결책도 나오지 않는 경우가 많다. 마이크로소프트에 문의하면

명령어를 실행하라는 답변만 주는 경우가 많으며, 그 답변마저 제대로 작동되지 않은 상황이 많다. 그래서 제 나름 다른 방법으로 해결하려는 경우가 많은데, 전과 다른 또 다른 버그가 발생할 수도 있다.

그나마 확실한 해결 방법은 순정 윈도우 설치 이미지로 포맷 - 재설치를 하는 것이다. 버그가 생길 만한 변수가 비교적은 적기 때문이며, 그 이유로 커스텀 윈도우는 설치하지 않는 것이 좋다. 설치 이미지는 미디어 생성 도구로써 받을 수 있다.

2.1. 일반 버그

2.1.1. 입력 방식 편집기 출력 오류

증상: '절'을 한자 키로 변환 시 截(끊을 절)의 훈음이 \'끓을 절'로 나옴
원인: 단순 오탈자 [1]
해결 방법: IME상의 문제이므로 마이크로소프트 측에 제보를 하는 것 밖에는 해결책이 없다.

2.1.2. 한글 자모가 풀어쓰기로 입력되는 오류

일명 한글자모 분리현상이며 윈도우 10에서 발생한 버그가 그대로 이어졌다.

증상: 어떤 단어를 입력했을 때, 모아쓰기가 되지 않고 (일부) 풀어쓰기로 입력되는 현상.
예)'윈도우'을 입력하면 'ㅇㅜㅣㄴㄷㅗㅇㅜ', '위ㄴ도우', 'ㅇㅟㄴ도우' 등으로 입력된다.
원인: 불명확. 입력장치들 사이의 충돌 또는 텍스트 입력기와 다른 프로그램들의 충돌 오류로 추정.[2]
해결 방법: 근본적인 해결책은 없다.
대처 방법: 아래의 모든 기능을 다 써봐도 안될 때도 있다.

재시작
다른 입력기 활용

이모지 창 띄웠다 끄기 (Win+; 등의 단축키 사용)
화상키보드를 띄워 몇글자 입력하고 끄기 (실행창에서 osk 또는 tabtip 입력)
insert 키를 입력하여 수정 모드로 적어보고 해결되면 다시 키를 눌러 삽입 모드로 전환.

작업 관리자를 열고, 서비스호스트: Text Input Management Service[3] 선택 후 작업 끝내기
설정 조정

2.1.3. 액션 센터 안 열림

증상: 작업 표시줄의 액션 센터(인터넷, 소리, 배터리 아이콘)를 눌러도 반응이 없다.
원인: 불명
해결책: 파일 탐색기 실행 -> 윈도우(시작)+x를 누르고 t를 클릭 -> '앱'에 있는 'Windows 탐색기'를 선택한 다음 오른쪽 위에 있는 '작업 다시 시작'을 클릭. 그래도 해결이 안되면 시스템을 다시시작 혹은 포맷. 22621.2428버전 기준, 더이상 발생하지 않는 것으로 확인되었었지만, 26100.4936에서 재발견되었다.

2.1.4. 환경 변수 창의 불필요한 여백

증상: 시스템 속성 -> 환경 변수를 통하여 열린 환경 변수 창에서 우측 하단에 불필요한 여백이 발생, 한국어 언어 팩에서만 확인됨.
원인: 불명
해결책: 한국어가 아닌 다른 언어 팩을 설치하면 해결이 가능하다. 그 대신 시스템을 다른 언어로 써야 한다.

2.2. 절전모드 오류

Windows Modern Standby(S0 절전모드)는 윈도우 기반 노트북, UMPC에 적용되는 신규 절전모드로 기존의 S3 절전모드를 대체한다. 저전력 모바일 기기를 표방하기 위해 개발되었으나 X86기반의 인텔, AMD 탑재 기기의 경우 절전모드에서도 노트북이 켜져있어 배터리가 소모될 뿐만 아니라 가방 안에 있을 경우 과한 발열이 발생할 수 있다. 자세한 내용은 Windows Modern Standby 참조.

2.3. OS 스케줄러와 비디오 게임 엔진 오류

사실 MS측에게 책임이 있는 오류는 아니지만 윈도우즈 11과 그 이상 버전에 한정되어 생기는 버그로 게임 엔진을 제대로 활용해서 HP(쓰레드)를 동적으로 엔진이 알아서 조절하게끔 하면 되는데 명조: 워더링 웨이브 같이 가끔 쓸때없이 이 HP를 특정 갯수로 정적이게 지정하고 미리 사전에 할당해 놓으면 이 HP들이 일관된 부하 패턴을 반복적으로 보이는데 여기에 QoS 관련 타입도 지정해놓은게 아니라면 윈도우즈 11의 OS 스케줄러는 해당 쓰레드들이 높은 우선순위에 있어도 QoS로 인하여 E코어나 다른 저 멀리 어딘가로 임의 배치(이주)시켜 게임을 플레이할때 CPU 로드율과 함께 하위1% 프레임이 내려간다. 윈도우즈 10은 정적 스케줄러라 철저히 Win32 기반으로 우선순위로 기반하여 논리코어에 강제 배치하기에 문제가 덜 하다.

해결방법으로는 프로세스레소를 사용하는것이다.#

3. Windows 11 RTM, 버전 21H2

3.1. 일반 버그 일람

대부분 문제는 상술했듯 순정 Windows ISO로 클린 재설치를 하면 된다. 클린 설치가 아닌 업그레이드 방식으로 설치할 때 발생하는 버그는 대부분 안전 모드에 한번 진입하고 나면 해결된다.

3.1.1. 작업 표시줄 사라짐

증상: 가끔 부팅을 하고 나서 작업 표시줄이 사라진다.
원인: 불명
해결 방법: 재시작

3.1.2. 검색창 버그

증상: Windows 11에 새로 추가된 팝업 검색창이 투명화되며 투명화된 팝업 검색창은 그림자만 보이고 클릭 등 아무것도 되지 않는다.
원인: 검색창에서 앱을 실행하고 켜지는 동안 팝업 검색창을 켠다.
해결 방법: 작업 관리자로 검색(X 표시 아이콘)을 종료한다.

듀얼 모니터 사용 중이라면 다른 작업 표시줄에 팝업 검색창을 띄우면 잠시 해결할 수 있다.

3.1.3. .NET Framework 오류

증상: 2022년 5월 12일 최신 빌드 22000.675에서 일어나는 현상. .NET Framework을 이용하는 프로그램들이 실행이 안되거나, 윈도우가 BSOD상태가 되는 버그
원인: 불명.
해결 방법: .NET Framework을 재설치하면 문제가 해결된다. 이스트소프트 알약 공지사항

3.1.4. Windows Defender 오류

증상: Windows Defender가 실행되지 않는 버그.
원인: 불명.
해결 방법: PowerShell을 관리자 권한으로 실행시킨 후, 아래 명령어를 입력하면 해결된다.

3.2. 특정 하드웨어 관련 버그 일람

대부분 해당 하드웨어 제조사의 최신 드라이버를 설치하면 된다.

3.2.1. LG, HP, Lenovo 트랙패드 & 터치패드 작동불가

증상: HP, Lenovo 최신 모델에서 트랙패드와 터치패드가 작동을 하지 않는다. 클린설치시 설치화면에서부터 먹통이며, Windows 설치 완료 후 정식 드라이버를 설치해도 느낌표 표시가 뜬다. 추가로 드라이버 상태가 불안정한지 제스처 사용이 제한되거나 트랙패드 및 터치패드의 동작속도가 굉장히 느려지는 경우도 있다. 2021년 11월 7일 현재 진행형. HP 노트북의 경우 터치패드가 2024년 3월 30일 까지도 정상작동 하지 않는다.
LG GRAM 2022 16인치 프리도스 모델도 마찬가지로 설치화면에서는 터치패드가 안 먹힌다(덤으로 와이파이도 안 된다) USB 마우스를 연결하면 잘 잡힌다. 윈도우 11의 설치를 완료하고 나서 LG Update에서 드라이버를 잡아주면 된다. 2022년 9월 2일 현재 진행형.
원인: 불명.

3.2.2. AMD 구형 플랫폼 NVME 랜덤 쓰기속도 저하 버그

증상: 랜덤 쓰기 속도가 절반 이하로 저하되는 현상. 정상적으로 작동하는 경우도 있고, 일부는 10~25% 정도의 속도 저하를 보고하기도 한다. 아예 지속적으로 버벅이는 경우도 상당하다. 윈도우 10에서도 동일한 증상이 발생하며, AMD Zen 3 기반 CPU에서 발생하는 것으로 보인다.
원인: 불명. 마이크로소프트도 PC 제조사도 해당 문제에서 손 놓고 있었기에 최신 PC를 사는 건 시기상조였다. AMD 세잔, 바르셀로 등을 장착한 PC를 구매하기 전에 해당 버그가 수정되었는지부터 확인할 필요가 있다.

3.3. 소프트웨어 버그 일람

기본적인 호환성은 Windows 10과 유사하나, 특정 컴포넌트를 쓰는 프로그램들이나 보안 프로그램에서 오류가 발생할 수 있다. 대부분은 소프트웨어 패치로 해결된다.

3.3.1. 기본 메일 클라이언트 띄어쓰기 및 특수문자 버그

추정 원인: 한글 입력기 처리 관련 버그
증상: 기본 내장 메일 앱에서 한글로 메일을 작성하는데 띄어쓰기 및 특수문자를 입력할 때 2번 눌러야 정상적인 입력이 되며, 1번만 누르는 경우는 무시된다. 서드파티 입력기 중 하나인 한컴 입력기로 교체하면 해당 증상이 일어났다 일어나지 않았다를 반복하는 모습을 보인다.

4. Windows 11 2022 업데이트, 버전 22H2 & 2023 업데이트, 버전 23H2 [4]

4.1. 일반 버그 일람

4.1.1. 파일 탐색기 성능 감소

증상: Moment 4 업데이트 이후 파일 탐색기 성능이 전 업데이트만큼 빠르지 않음
원인: WindowsAppSDK로 파일 탐색기를 돌리면서 생긴 이유로 추정.
해결 방법: 현재 없음, F11키를 눌러 전체화면으로 들어갔다 나오면 반응속도가 빨라진다. 하지만 이 경우 버그로 인해 WinUI 부분의 주소 표시줄이 동작하지 않게 된다.

4.1.2. IME 오류

증상: 한글을 입력하다 다른 창에 포커스를 맞추는 등의 행동을 하면 마지막 글자가 사라지는 등의 버그. 단어의 마지막 글자가 오히려 복제되거나 중간 글자가 사라지는 일도 있다. WSA에서는 버그가 심해져 한글을 거의 치지 못할 정도가 되며 GZDoom 등에서도 문제가 발생한다.
원인: 불명
해결 방법: 대부분의 경우 설정에서 IME를 이전 버전으로 되돌리면 해결된다. #

임시방편으로 글자를 입력하고 난 뒤 문장 부호나 숫자,방향키를 입력해 커서의 포커스를 마지막 글자에서 치워 버리면 예방 가능하다.

=====# 인접 창 크기 동시 조정 옵션 강제 적용 버그 #=====

증상: 멀티태스킹 - 일부 사용자 한정으로 멀창 끌기 옵션 중 하나인 "끌어온 창의 크기를 조정할 때 끌어온 모든 인접 창의 크기를 동시에 조정합니다." 항목이 사라지고 강제 적용 된다. 해당 옵션의 레지스트리 항목인 JointResize 항목을 0으로 줘도 적용되지 않는다. 분할 사용 중에 하나의 창만 크기를 변경하고 싶은데 다른 창까지 멋대로 크기가 변경된다. Ctrl+드래그를 사용하면 하나의 창만 크기 변경이 가능하지만, 애초에 윈도우 10 시절부터 이 옵션을 끄고 사용하던 사람에게는 불편함만 주고 있다.

증상: 파일 탐색기로 폴더를 열었다가 최소화하거나 다른 프로그램 창을 사용하여 가려진 경우, 탐색기가 갑자기 맨 앞으로 나온다. 뭔가 타이핑 중이나 드래그 중이든, 유튜브를 보든 시도때도 없이 발생해서 환장하게 만들어진다. 발생 여부와 발생 빈도는 제각각으로, 증상이 없는 사람도 있고, 한 달에 한두 번부터 3~4시간에 한 번 정도에 다양하다. 마이크로소프트 커뮤니티(영어) 국내 사례1 국내 사례2 마소에서도 이를 인지하고 인사이드 프리뷰 빌더 23403에서 수정 중이다. 링크 (페이지에서 foreground로 검색) 1년이 넘게 지속되다가 2023년 12월 업데이트로 드디어 해결되었다.

증상: 간헐적으로 창이 작업 표시줄을 가린다. 정확히 말하자면 전체 화면 실행 중이 아닌 이상 항상 맨 위에 있어야 할 작업 표시줄이 창 순서의 맨 밑으로 가버리는 바람에, 화면 공간이 협소한 등의 이유로 잠시 창을 화면 바깥에 걸쳐둔 채로 멀티태스킹을 하게 되면 그 창이 그대로 작업 표시줄을 가린다.
원인: 불명

증상: 상술된 21H2에서부터 이어지는 버그.
해결 방법: 2023년 8월 화요일 패치 업데이트(KB5029263)로 해결된 듯하다.

증상: 인터넷 입력 창 등에서 한글로 글자를 작성하고 Alt 키를 누르면 마지막 글자가 지워지는 버그가 존재한다. 이 또한 로마자에서는 일어나지 않는다. 한글로 글자를 만드는 자리에는 밑줄이 그어지는데, 밑줄을 없애지 않고 누를 때 지워진다.
원인: 불명.
대처 방법: → 키를 누르거나 마우스로 마지막 글자 오른쪽에 좌클릭을 한 다음에 Alt 키를 누른다.

5.1. 텍스트 입력 창에서 커서가 하얗게 됨

증상: 일부 컴퓨터에서 업데이트 후, 텍스트 입력 창에서 텍스트 선택 커서(글자 드래그할 때 큰 대문자 I 모양의 커서)가 하얗게 되어서 안 보이는 현상. #
원인: 구성표 중 "Windows 기본값 (시스템 구성표)"의 "텍스트 선택" 지정 오류로 추정.
대처 방법: 작업 표시줄 검색에서 마우스 설정 입력 → 더 많은 마우스 설정 → 마우스 속성[8] → 포인터 → 텍스트 선택을 선택 → 찾아보기 → beam_r.cur 열기 → 확인

5.2. ~DRAM-Less SSD가 인식 불량 ~(주장)

증상: 컨트롤러에 Dram이 없는 SATA, NVME SSD에서 파일 이동이 느려지거나 프리징 또는 인식이 되지 않거나 아예 SSD가 작동이 되지 않는다. 또한, 대용량 파일을 옮기거나 쓰는 작업을 해도 증상이 일어난다. 위 증상이 일어나면 파일이 깨지거나 파티션이 깨지거나 하는데, SSD의 낸드, 컨트롤러 까지 망가지는지는 경우가 전부 다른 편이라 여부 모름.
한 유명 유투버의 증상실험
원인: 최초 보고자는 윈도우 24H2의 일부 업데이트(KB5063878, KB5062660)를 설치하고 해당 문제가 생겨나고 있다고 주장중이다. 그러나 대부분 SSD에는 문제점이 없는 편이고 DRAMless SSD에서도 문제가 생긴다는 이야기도 생기고 있고 특정사 컨트롤러 칩셋이 업데이트와 충돌이 일어난다는 이야기도 있다. 물론, 특정 컨트롤러 칩셋 문제가 아닐 수도 있다는 이야기도 있는 편.(SSD마다 증상이 전부 다르다) 현재 마이크로소프트와 SSD 제조사들 모두 해당 증상 구현에 실패하고 리눅스에도 비슷한 현상이 나온다는 주장도 있어 윈도우 버그인지조차 미지수다.#

며칠 후 파이슨사 SSD의 리뷰어 제공용 프리 프로덕션 펌웨어를 원인으로 지목하는 기사#도 나왔다. 다만 초기 판매분에도 프리 프로덕션 펌웨어가 적용된 게 아니라면 보고된 사례가 많은 편이라 이것도 확실하진 않다.
업데이트 버그가 맞는 걸 여론조작한 거라는 폭로가 나와 진흙탕에 빠졌다. # "기사에 나와 있던 시제품이라는 그의 제품은 실제 패키지가 있는 정식 소비자용 SSD였으며,사이트에 올라있지 않은 시험용 바이오스라고 명시했던 제이의 바이오스는 애즈락 사이트에 정식으로 등록된 최신 베타 바이오스였습니다. 제이는 이날 방송에서 날조된 언론인의 의도에 하나씩 분명하게 답하며, 이런 거짓 의도를 향해 강력하게 투쟁할 것을 선언했습니다. 이 언론이 마이크로소프트에 의해 의도된 것은 아니더라도, 그가 진솔하게 방송한 내용은 엔비디아를 포함하여 최근 PC 소비자들을 우롱하는 거대 테크 기업에 대한 위선적인 모습을 드러내기에 충분한 것이었습니다. "

대처방법: 일단 문제의 해결은커녕 원인도 알 수 없으니 기다리기 전에 부팅이 된다면 해당 업데이트를 찾아서 삭제한다. SSD 펌웨어 문제가 맞을 경우에 대비해서 최신 정식 펌웨어로 업데이트한다[9]. 부팅이 되지 않는다면 Windows PE로 부팅해서 백업을 해야 된다. 만약 부팅도 인식도 되지 않는다면, SSD 제조사/유통사 측에 문의해보자.

5.3. 고급시작옵션 메뉴에서 키보드 마우스 미작동

증상: 고급시작옵션 메뉴[10]에서 키보드와 마우스가 작동하지 않아 부팅모드로 들어가는 등의 선택을 할 수 없다.
원인: 최초 보고자는 윈도우 25H2의 일부 업데이트(KB5066835) (26200.6899)를 설치하고 해당 문제가 생겨나고 있다고 주장중이다.# 그러나 업데이트 하지 않은 24H2에서도 같은 문제가 발생했다.
대처방법: 고급시작옵션 메뉴를 거치지 않고 UEFI 바이오스 화면 등에서 관련 명령을 처리하는 수밖에 없다. 안전 모드의 경우 msconfig를 이용해 진입하는 방법이 있다.
