2007년 발표된 리아나의 싱글.리아나의 앨범 Good Girl Gone Bad에 수록되었다. 롤링 스톤 선정 500대 명곡에서 412위에 랭크되었다. 2007년 빌보드 핫 100 연말 차트에서 비욘세의 Irreplaceable에 밀려 2위를 기록했고 빌보드 핫 100 2000년대 총결산 차트에서 57위, 1958년~2018년 빌보드 핫 100 올타임 차트에선 402위에 올랐다.
곡의 드럼은 GarageBand의 드럼 샘플 Vintage Funk Kit 03을 이용한 것이다.
Umbrella는 Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Songs of All Time의 412위에 랭크되어 있다. 그래미 어워드의 'Song of the Year'와 'Record of the Year'에 노미네이트 되었지만 두 부문 다 에이미 와인하우스의 'Rehab'에 밀려 수상은 실패.
