1. 개요

Kel-Tec 사에서 만든 .22WMR(.22 매그넘)탄을 사용하는 권총이다. 장탄량 30발이라는 많은 탄약을 자랑한다는 것이 제일이자 유일한 특징. 크기는 평범한 풀사이즈 권총급이지만 빈총 무게가 386g이라는 것이 역시 켈택 퀄리티. 외부에서 조작 가능한 안전장치를 갖추고 있고 슬라이드에 도트 사이트를 장착할 수 있으며, 슬라이드에 고정되어서 함께 움직인다.

2. 사용탄

.22WMR탄은 .22LR탄보다 강력하기 때문에 이 탄을 사용했다는것은 이 권총은 사격연습용이 아니라 본격적으로 써 먹어보라고 만든 물건 같지만, 탄창멈치가 안으로 누르는 방식의 힐컵(유러피언)방식이고, 또 크기가 커서 그립을 잡는 방식에 따라선 사격 도중에 손바닥으로 누르게 되기 쉽다. 그리고 대형권총임에도 슬라이드가 너무 작아(길이는 길지만 폭과 높이가 매우 좁음) 슬라이드를 잡아서 코킹시키기가 힘들다는 평이 많다. 반면 그립부는 뒷부분이(림드카트리지를 복열식으로 넣기 때문에) 뚱뚱해서 그립감이 미묘하다.

이런부분은 훈련으로 극복할 수 있지만, 가장 큰 문제는 탄을 너무 심하게 편식한다는 점이다. 지동권총이라서 .22LR을 못쓰는 건 당연한건데, 사용탄인 .22WMR탄도 몇몇 특정 탄이 아니면 수시로 탄을 씹어먹는다. 구매할때 아예 매뉴얼에 "CCI .22WMR 외에는 쓰지 마세요"라는 주황색 별지가 끼워져 있을 정도로 탄을 많이 가린다.

그리고 잘 사용되는 회사의 탄을 넣었다 하더라도 사용탄인 .22WMR 자체가 림파이어 탄이기 때문에, 잘 사용되는 탄 조차도 일반 센터파이어 탄에 비하면 격발불량이 잦고, 탄의 위력 면에서도 본격적 전투용 탄약보다 저지력이 약해서 전투용으로서의 사용은 선호되지 않고, 바민트 컨트롤[1]로 쓰기엔 총신이 짧은 권총 포맷이라 선호되지 않고, 넉넉한 장탄수를 기반으로 해서 트리거 해피들의 장난감용으로 쓰기엔 .22WMR총탄이 .22LR보다 비싸 이래저래 미묘한 총이다. ~~암살용으로 쓰면 된다~~

PMR-30에 연장 총열과 개머리판을 달아서 카빈화시킨 버전. 2011년 발표했지만 생산과 배송이 느려서 산 사람이 별로 없다. 컨셉을 보자면 딱 가난한 자의 H&K MP7이다. 원래 이름은 RMR-30이었으나, 최근에 이름이 CMR-30으로 바뀌었다.
