2001년 발매된 마이크로폰즈의 정규 3집 The Glow, Pt. 2의 오프닝 트랙.

2. 상세

필라델피아에서 투어를 하던 중 문득 떠올린 멜로디를 바탕으로 만든 곡이다. 귓속을 긁는 듯한 특유의 기타 사운드가 인상적인데, 앰프뿐만 아니라 기타 현 자체에 마이크를 갖다대어 피크 소리를 녹음했고, 스테레오의 양쪽 채널에 기타를 녹음할 때 딜레이 속도를 다르게 하여 의도적으로 부자연스러운 효과를 냈다고 한다. 필은 기타로 물소리를 구현하는 것을 목표로 했다고.[1]

가사는 삶의 원동력을 잃은 화자가, 폭풍이 불어와 자신을 다시 자극해 주길 바라는 내용이다. 첫 가사의 "The Thunderclouds"는 필과 그의 전 애인 카엘라 마리시치(Khaela Maricich)가 소속되어 있던 비치 보이스 커버 밴드의 이름이기도 하다.
