빌보드 200에서 1위로 데뷔했으며, 발매 첫 주 미국에서 28만 장 이상이 판매되었다.

제53회 그래미 어워드에서 최우수 팝 보컬 앨범 부문 및 싱글 "Half of My Heart"로 최우수 남성 팝 보컬 퍼포먼스 부문 후보에 올랐으나 두 부문 모두 수상에는 실패했다.

준수한 상업적 성과를 거두었음에도 불구하고, 전작 Continuum의 높은 평가에 가려져 상대적으로 저평가된 음반으로 여겨진다. 수록곡들의 세련된 구성과 완성도 높은 프로덕션은 호평을 받았으나, 전작의 혁신성을 뛰어넘지 못하고 다소 진부한 답습에 그쳤다는 평가도 적지 않았다. 다만 팬들 사이에서는 꾸준히 재조명되는 음반이기도 하다. 롤링 스톤
