3일 밤에 전원을 꺼 놓은 펀타임 프레디를 정비하는 도중에 독자적으로 움직인다. 전원을 꺼 놓은 펀타임 프레디를 고치기 위해 본본의 나비 넥타이 밑에 있는 버튼을 눌러야 하지만, 커서를 본본 쪽으로 조금만 움직여도 본본이 펀타임 프레디의 뒤로 숨어 버리기 때문에 쉽지 않다.

참고로 시간이 너무 오래 걸리면 본본의 공격을 받아 게임 오버가 된다. 펀타임 프레디의 뒤에 있을 때 본본이 그 뒤로 숨는다면 이미 죽은 것이다.

팁은 시야에 본본이 약간 보이는 상태로 본본이 펀타임 프레디의 밖으로 거의 끝까지 나올 때까지 기다린 다음, 재빨리 나비 넥타이의 밑 버튼을 누르는 것이다.

The Freddy Files에서 설명문에 그녀(she)라고 적혀 있지만 보넷의 설명문에 "그녀는 시리즈 내 최초로 등장한 보니의 여성 버전이다.(She's the first girl version of Bonnie to appear in the series.)"라고 적혀 있으므로, she라고 적혔던 건 실수라고 할 수 있다.

펀타임 프레디와 본본의 목소리 모음 영상을 보면 알겠지만 목소리가 높고 귀여운 편이고 성우 또한 여성이기에 성별을 착각하기 쉬우나[5] 원형인 보니가 수컷 토끼의 모티브인 것도 그렇고 상술한 보넷의 설명문을 보았을 시 남성이다. 애초에 보넷이 시리즈 내 최초로 등장한 보니의 여성 버전이라고 나와 있는데 보넷보다 먼저 등장했던 본본이 여성일 시 앞뒤가 안 맞기 때문.

본본은 펀타임 프레디에게 있어 어머니와 같은 존재라고 한다.[6]
