미합중국 공군의 군가.1957년 상업 음반사인 스콧-텍스터 프로덕션의 엘런 스콧과 키스 텍스터가 미 공군의 신병 모집 광고 의뢰를 받아 작곡했다. 해당곡은 TV에 송출되어 미 공군 홍보용 광고에 삽입되었다. 이 노래의 저작권은 공군이 매입하여 퍼블릭 도메인으로 공개되었다. 이후 미치 밀러에 의해 행진곡 템포로 재편곡되었고 1957년 2월 3일 태평양공군 사령관인 에밋 오도넬 주니어 중장이 출연한 CBS 라디오 쇼에서 녹음 작업이 이루어졌다. 홍보영상에 나오는 기종들은 F-86, B-52, B-47 스트라토제트, F-102, F-100, F3H 데몬 등이다.
현재도 미 공군 의장대에서 단골로 연주되는 전통있는 곡이다.
