In un'altra vita 01 6:11앨범의 첫 문을 여는 이 곡의 제목은 이탈리아어로 '또 다른 삶에서'라는 뜻이다. 포레스텔라는 데뷔 당시 팬텀싱어 2의 결승 무대에서 바로 이 곡을 불렀다. 그러니 이 노래는 단순한 오프닝이 아니다. 그것은 시작의 기억이며, 포레스텔라라는 이름이 처음으로 세상에 울려 퍼지던 밤의 복기다. 그때의 네 사람은 경쟁자였지만 지금은 형제이고, 그때 불렀던 노래가 이제 8년의 시간을 건너 [THE LEGACY]의 첫 머리에 다시 놓였다. 철학적으로 이 제목은 하나의 질문을 품고 있다. Nella Notte 03 4:27포레스텔라 정규 1집의 〈Dell'amore Non Si Sa〉를 만든 이탈리아 작곡가 Andrea Sandri가 다시 한번 포레스텔라를 위해 펜을 들었다. 작곡가는 포레스텔라의 음색과 음악적 정체성을 먼저 이해하고, 그들이 가장 아름답게 빛날 수 있는 언어와 감정을 찾아 이 곡을 완성했다. 'Nella Notte', 밤 속에서. 이탈리아어로 '밤'이란 감정이 가장 솔직해지는 시간이자, 이성의 방어가 무너지고 내면의 목소리가 가장 크게 들리는 시간이다. 고요한 밤 속에서 떠오르는 그리움, 설렘, 이유 알 수 없는 애수. 라이브 심포닉 스트링과 밴드 사운드가 그 순간들을 정밀하게 복원해 낸다. 대구 엑스코에서 처음 공개되었을 때 심포닉 오케스트레이션과 포레스텔라의 따뜻한 보컬이 겹치며 객석을 전율로 물들였다는 평이 전해진다. |

Etude 04 4:36'Étude'는 프랑스어로 '연습곡'을 뜻한다. 쇼팽의 에튀드, 리스트의 에튀드 - 클래식에서 에튀드란 기교를 연마하기 위한 곡이지만, 동시에 그 자체로 아름다운 예술이 되기도 한다. 포레스텔라의 〈Etude〉는 그 이중성을 사랑의 메타포로 삼는다. 사랑은 완성된 결과물이 아니라 끝없는 연습의 과정이다. 실수하고, 반복하고, 조금씩 나아가는 것 프랑스어 가사는 그 과정에서 느끼는 아련함과 그리움, 그럼에도 계속 나아가는 의지를 섬세하게 담아낸다. 메이저와 마이너를 오가는 화성은 기쁨과 슬픔이 공존하는 사랑의 실제 감정과 닮아있다. 부드러운 왈츠 리듬 위에 오케스트라 사운드가 펼쳐지며, 포레스텔라의 하모니는 한 편의 영화 같은 흐름을 만든다. 웅장함이 아닌 섬세함으로 마음에 깊이 새겨지는 종류의 아름다움이다. |
