1. 소개
Parasomnia사건수면
2025년 2월 7일에 발매된 드림 시어터의 16번째 정규앨범이다. 오리지널 멤버였던 마이크 포트노이가 Black Clouds & Silver Linings 이후 16년만에 기존의 멤버들과 작업한 복귀작이다.
2024년 10월 10일, 첫번째 싱글인 Night Terror가 뮤직비디오와 함께 공개 되었다.
그와 함께, 공식 SNS를 통해 트랙리스트와 러닝 타임이 공개 되었다.
마이크 포트노이는 인터뷰를 통해서 자신이 떠나기 직전에 마지막으로 작업했던 10집에서 이어지는 느낌을 주는 방식으로 제작했음을 밝혔다.
이번 앨범은 Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory와 The Astonishing과 같은 류의 컨셉트 앨범이 아닌, 각 곡을 통해서 "잠"과 연관된 주제를 풀어내는 앨범일 것이라고 밝혔다.
2024년 12월 3일 두 번째 싱글로 A Broken Man이 공개되었다.
2025년 1월 23일, 세 번째 싱글로 Midnight Messiah를 공개했다.
2025년 02월 07일, 싱글 3개를 제외한 나머지 곡들이 공개됐다.
