바이커 갱단 리더 연인을 가족의 반대와 운전 사고로 잃은 10대 소녀의 비극적인 사랑에 대한 곡이다. 샹그리라는 당시 걸그룹 중에서는 멜로적이거나 비극적인 노래를 많이 불렀는데 그런 이미지를 대표하는 곡이다.곡 내용 때문에 BBC에서 금지당하기도 한다.
