발매 직후에는 반응이 없다시피 했으나, 라디오 에어 수치와 안정적인 스트리밍 수치에 힘입어 발매 4달차인 7월에 접어들면서 눈에 띄게 성적이 상승했다. 이후 레이디 가가의 Stupid Love를 제치고 미국 스포티파이에서 2020년 7번째로 가장 많은 스트리밍 수치를 기록한 여성 아티스트의 곡이 되었다.

빌보드 Hot 100에서는 76위로 데뷔한 뒤 거의 매 주 피크 순위가 상승하여 13위를 찍은 이후 팬들이 TOP 10을 기록할 것이라 예상했으나, 크리스마스 시즌이 지나간 이후로 순위가 계속 떨어지다 27주를 롱런하고 48위로 차트아웃 되었다.

UK 싱글 차트에서는 90위로 데뷔하여 피크순위 19위를 달성하고 총 31주간 차트인 했으며, 이는 2020년 발매 된 여성 솔로 가수의 노래 중 영국 차트에서 가장 롱런한 것이다.

보니 타일러의 If You Were a Woman을 샘플링했기 때문에 멜로디가 일부 유사하다. 본 조비의 You Give Love a Bad Name와 같은 곡을 샘플링해서 이 곡과도 유사하다. 매쉬업이 따로 있을 정도. #

에이바가 한 인터뷰에서 'Kings & Queens' 의 최종 버전이 완성되기 전까지 각기 다른 10가지 버전을 거쳐 완성하였다고 언급하기도 하였다.

한국에서는 댄서 꼰야가 커버했다.#

kt wiz의 1루수인 박병호의 응원가로 쓰이고 있었으나 박병호가 삼성으로 이적하면서 쓰이지 않는다. 또한 일본의 야구선수인 우루시하라 타이세이는 이 노래를 등장곡으로 쓴다. 오릭스에서 한신으로 이적한 후에도 등장곡을 유지.

안양 정관장 레드부스터스가 팀명을 바꾼 이후 응원가로 쓰이고 있다.
