이 곡은 Lxrd Hippy와 Cracka Paul이 평소처럼 함께 작업한 협업곡이지만, XXXTENTACION과 피처링으로 발표한 유일한 곡이기도 하다. “Bodies”는 텐타시온이 2016년 7월 올랜도에서 체포되기 직전에 발표한 마지막 곡이다.[1]

DJ Patt는 이미 X의 “I AM!”, “RUN IT BACK!” 같은 곡들을 프로듀싱한 경력이 있다.

Cracka Paul은 인스타그램에서 이 곡이 2016년 10월에서 11월 사이에 녹음되었으며, 2016년 7월에 발표되었다고 밝혔습니다.[2]

이 곡은 X와 Denzel Curry가 함께 살던 시절에 만들어진 곡으로, X의 벌스는 ULT 하우스 (Denzel Curry의 크루인 ULT의 녹음 스튜디오)에서 녹음되었을 가능성이 높다.
