2016년 5월 27일 XXXTENTACION이 발매를 암시한 앨범이었으나, 여러 차례 연기 끝에 결국 발매되지 않았다.

Bad Vibes Forever는 원래 텐타시온의 데뷔 앨범으로 계획되었다.[1]

그는 2016년 5월 27일 텀블러를 통해 Bad Vibes Forever를 발표하며, 다음 달 공식 발매를 암시했다.

진짜 팬들을 위해, 나는 이걸 6월 16일에 발매할 거야. 전부 히트곡으로 만들려고 최선을 다하고 있어서, 발매 전에 테이프를 들어볼 사람을 몇 명 선정할 거야.
분위기는 신나는 곡과 슬픈 곡 모두 있을 거고, 올해 발매된 테이프 중 최고가 되도록 최선을 다할 거야. 그게 가능하도록 뭐든지 할 거고.

하지만 알 수 없는 이유로 발매가 연기되었고, 이후 2016년 7월 8일에 X는 Bad Vibes Forever를 다시 발표하며 발매일을 2016년 10월 31일로 변경했다.

그러나 그는 2016년 10월 가정폭력 혐의로 체포되면서 계획했던 발매가 무산되었다.

2017년 3월 인터뷰에서 X는 Bad Vibes Forever와 17을 동시에 작업 중이라고 밝혔다. 17은 2017년 8월에 그의 데뷔 앨범으로 발매되었지만, Bad Vibes Forever는 어디에도 없었다. 이후 X가 세상을 떠나기 전 Bad Vibes Forever를 폐기한 사실이 알려졌으며, 그 결과 전혀 다른 앨범이 그의 마지막 사후 앨범으로 같은 제목 아래 발매되었다.
