라퀼라 는 이탈리아의 도시로 아브루초 라퀼라도 의 중심지이다. 인구는 2013년에 70,967명이었다. 15세기 아라곤 왕국의 알폰소 5세가 두 차례 침공해왔을 때에 나폴리 왕국의 마지막 거점으로 저항한 동네이다. 결국 아라곤령이 되긴 했지만 말이다. 2009년에 큰 지진이 일어나 약 300명이 사망했다.
