경상북도 구미시 황상동에 위치한 구미국도대체우회도로의 나들목이다. 명칭은 인근 검성지에서 따왔다.
서군위IC와 비슷한 형태의 입체교차로이다.

- 불완전한 형태의 입체교차로로 건설되었다. 좁은 간격 안에 교차로를 만들어야 했기 때문인지는 몰라도, 터널 내부에서 진출하는 차선으로 이동해야 하며 터널을 나왔을 때는 진출할 수 없게 설계해 두었다.
- 터널과 터널사이에 건설되었는데, 이 두 터널의 간격은 500m도 채 안된다.
